I don’t know if you guys have ever heard of a “dream client”, but this girl right here is one of mine. Brandy was a literal dream to work with during her maternity session this summer. Even though it was 90 degrees, smoke was still lingering from the wildfires, and we had to trudge through intense thorny grass, she didn’t complain once.

You guys, if I was pregnant in the summer and in the same situation, I’d just fall on the ground in a sweaty pile of grossness. This girl is a trooper, and umm hello, she’s also drop dead gorgeous.

We caught a few moments with her husband Mark between him gobbling up blackberries (which made the air smell amazing by the way), and I adored watching them together. Let’s be real here: guys don’t love photoshoots. They’re usually attending against their will, and would much rather be watching football or doing basically anything else. But you know what? That’s where I see the love. Men, you endure it all for your women, for the joy it gives them. Mark wasn’t afraid to tell me flat out that he didn’t want to be there, but he was choosing to because he knew it was going to make Brandy happy to have these memories captured before their son came into the world. Ahh, I love it.
